There are several steps to becoming a member at Cizitens' Hose Company No. 1.  As always, we are looking for volunteer members who are willing to donate time into activities such as firefighting, emergency medical services, fire police, administrative help, fund raising, and/or social activities.

The first step to becoming a member is to obtain and fill out a membership application.  (Downloadable application located below).  After filling out and submitting your application to the company, a background check will be performed.  After that, your application will be presented to the general membership, who will then vote on a probationary membership.  The vote will occur on the fourth Tuesday of the month.  If the vote is in favor, you will then be a member of the company.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 717-432-3281.
